Woollybutt resumes production
Italian Eni-operated Woollybutt field has recommenced production after a 10-month hiatus.
Oil is being produced from the Four Rainbow floating production, storage and offloading vessel and expected to return to pre-shut down levels of about 8000 to 9000 barrels per day.
Production from Woollybutt was suspended on 28 April 2009 to allow the FPSO to completed a scheduled drydocking at Keppel Shipyard in Singapore, Eni’s partner Tap Oil said.
The yard programme will allow the vessel to remain on location to the end of the Woollybutt field life.
Eni operates Woollybutt with 65% interest. Partners are Tap Oil (15%) and Mobil Australia (20%).
