Pair team up for Kimberley LNG
Australia’s Liquefied Natural Gas Limited is primed to scope the development of the Kimberley LNG project in North Western Australia after signing an agreement with compatriot Oil Basins.
The Kimberley LNG project would tap gas resources in the Canning basin and benefit from the work LNG Ltd has carried out at its $1.3 billion Gladstone LNG project in Queensland, the outfit said in a statement today.
LNG Ltd has also snapped up 4.9% of Oil Basins.
The pair signed a strategic alliance agreement to jointly investigate the LNG proejct in North Western Australia.
LNG Ltd added that it is scoping three sites around Australia where the potential exists for LNG projects, using conventional or unconventional gas supply, or a combination of both.
