Official Welcome Reception

Your introduction to Northern Australia's largest and longest established petroleum conference begins with our pre-event welcome reception at Parliament House in Darwin, one of the Northern Territory’s iconic buildings.

With its overhanging roofs, wide verandahs and spectacular views, the building was designed specifically for a tropical climate. Join the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory, the Hon Paul Henderson MLA as he officially welcomes delegates to SEAAOC 2012 in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.


SEAAOC Official Gala Dinner
From 7.00pm, Wednesday 19th September 2012, Darwin Convention Centre

The SEAAOC Official Gala Dinner takes place on the evening of the first day of the conference.

The informal atmosphere provides delegates with the opportunity to network and do business with their peers and clients whilst enjoying a lavish dinner and drinks reception.

After the NT Resources Week Official Gala Dinner extravaganza ease into the second morning of NT Resources Week with a bang up barbeque breakfast on the Conference and Exhibition Centre deck.

You can look out into Darwin Harbour, the new professional precinct and wave pool while enjoying the casual breakfast to get you ready for the morning’s proceedings.
