ConocoPhillips Australia is a subsidiary of ConocoPhillips, with significant assets and exploration activities across the Australian region. Our major producing assets are the Bayu-Undan gas condensate field in the Timor Sea and the Darwin Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Plant in the Northern Territory which are linked by a 500km sub-sea pipeline.

ConocoPhillips Australia operates the downstream component of Australia Pacific LNG – one of Australia's largest coal seam gas-to-liquefied natural gas joint ventures, in Queensland with joint venture participants Origin Energy and Chinese energy company Sinopec. ConocoPhillips is also a joint venture participant in the Greater Sunrise LNG Project and has exploration and development interests including the Caldita/Barossa discoveries located offshore Northern Territory and acreage offshore Western Australia in the Browse Basin. ConocoPhillips has approximately 500 employees in Australia

INPEX CORPORATION
is a worldwide oil and gas exploration and production company currently involved in more than 70 projects across 26 countries. INPEX is ranked in the top global petroleum companies and is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. About the Ichthys LNG Project
The Ichthys LNG Project is a Joint Venture between INPEX Browse Ltd (76%, the Operator) and Total E&P Australia (24%). Gas from the Ichthys Field, in the Browse Basin offshore of Western Australia, will undergo preliminary processing offshore to remove water and raw liquids, including condensate. The gas will then be exported to the onshore processing facilities in Darwin via an 885km subsea pipeline. The Ichthys Project is expected to produce 8.4 million tonnes of LNG and 1.6 million tonnes of LPG per annum, along with 100,000 barrels of condensate per day at peak.

MEO Australia Limited (ASX: MEO) is a publicly listed company with five offshore permits located in Australia's Bonaparte, Northern Browse and Carnarvon Basins.

The Company has actively been seeking a farm-in partner for its 100% owned NT/P68 exploration permit containing the Blackwood and Heron gas discoveries which require appraisal drilling.

MEO has also secured Commonwealth Environmental approvals to install a 3 Mtpa LNG plant and two 1.75 Mtpa methanol plants on Tassie Shoal, an area of shallow water 275 km north west of Darwin. These projects require feed gas which could come from NT/P68 or other nearby stranded gas resources.

In the Carnarvon Basin, MEO has two contiguous exploration permits in close proximity to three separate LNG projects all seeking additional gas resources. In 2010, Petrobras farmed into WA-360-P.

MEO is actively seeking New Venture opportunities in Australia and overseas.

GDF SUEZ is one of the world's leading energy companies and a benchmark in the fields of gas, electricity, energy services and the environment.

It is active throughout the entire energy value chain, in electricity and natural gas, upstream to downstream in:

  • purchasing, production and marketing of natural gas and electricity;
  • transmission, storage, distribution, operation and development of major natural gas infrastructures;
  • energy services and services related to environmental management (water, waste).

GDF SUEZ operates a well-balanced business model:

  • through its presence in complementary activities across the value chain (balanced breakdown of revenues between gas, electricity and services);
  • through its presence in regions exposed to different business and economic cycles, with a strong presence in emerging markets with their greater prospects for growth;
  • through its presence allocated between activities that are exposed to market uncertainties and others that offer recurring revenue (infrastructure, PPA-type contracts, regulated activities in water, etc.);
  • through a balanced energy mix with priority given to low- and zero-carbon energy sources.

GDF SUEZ has thus based its development strategy on the following:

  • acceleration of development in emerging markets in power generation and in the fi eld of LNG and exploration and production;
  • integration and optimization of activities in Europe;
  • development of activities with recurring revenue (infrastructure, secured long-term energy sales (PPA), energy services, and environment).

GDF SUEZ occupies a prime position in the European and global energy landscape. This position is strengthened by the combination of GDF SUEZ Energy International and International Power entered into in February 2011.

In 2010, GDF SUEZ was ranked the largest listed utility in the world in the annual ranking by Forbes magazine of the 2,000 largest listed global companies (24th in the general category, 3rd among French companies).

Listed in Brussels (Belgium), Luxembourg and Paris (France), GDF SUEZ is represented in the major international indices: CAC 40, BEL 20, DJ Stoxx 50, DJ Euro Stoxx 50, Euronext

Bonaparte LNG is a joint venture between GDF SUEZ and Australian energy company Santos to commercialise the Petrel, Tern and Frigate natural gas fields in the Bonaparte Basin, in the Timor Sea, using an innovative floating liquefaction technology.
